STEAM TAP SEAL REPLACEMENT

FAEMINA FIRST AND SECOND MODEL

The Faemina steam tap usually has no leaking for which often neglects in normal maintenance.

remove the screw that secures the stem tap knob and the nut

with a 7 mm wrench unscrew the tap shaft

remove the old gasket, usually made with a coiled lanyard

clean the inside of the tap from residues of lanyard

buy an o-ring (rope 3.5 mm, internal diameter 6 mm) and two washers

reassemble the tap

the tap needs replacement of 2 o-ring
