FAEMA began the production of Faemina in the early '50s and the model in question, without steam pipe, is conforming with that described in the original patent.
Is a sturdy machine, with piston actuated by a spring, closed boiler and the steam tap. Has two heating element, 200W and 800W, which can be individually switched on via its switch. This is one of the first models produced, as can be seen from the number engraved on the label. The voltage 160V is quite unusual but it should be noted that in the 50s every energy supplier had a own voltage.
The first model is recognizable not only by the label with a red background, but even by the following details:
the cap boiler has 2 safety valve
the sight glass level is stopped by s nut screwed
there are 2 heating element Calrod 200 W and 800 W
the machine is in excellent condition, there are not leaks so it was not necessary renew the seals
