The Elektra Microcasa a Leva was born in the early 60s, thanks to Mr Fregnan, owner of ELEKTRA Treviso. Remained essentially the same over the years, except some minor cosmetic details, was and still is produced in only 3 versions: copper and brass (S1), chrome and brass (S1CO), chromium (S1C). What strikes at first sight of these machines is the perfection of the components, the strength of materials and simplicity of forms. The ease with which the piston can be removed is surprising. The sheen of the steel, the handles in bakelite and the eagle chromed, make the complex harmonic and without equal. Due to my friend Lucio (the searcher of coffeemachines), i was lucky enough to be entered into possession of this splendid specimen, discovered in the extreme outskirts of Rome with a deft intelligence operation.
