how insert the filter holder spring
The filter spring holder is a small metal ring inserted into a
groove of the holder, that holding the filter during ejecting the waste of
coffee, avoiding burning your fingers trying to hold the filter.
La Pavoni has equipped its machines with this useful system for only a few years in the late 70s - early 80s and again in 2008.
As a result, most of the machines does not have this convenience, but can be remedied
Is an intervention that must be done with the help of a lathe, so you'll probably need the help of a turner, but the operation is very simple.
There is need make a groove at 5 mm from the edge about 1.5 mm in height and 0.8-1 mm in depth..
insert the filter holder spring in the groove
and then insert the filter basket in the holder
and you have forever solved a small but annoying problem!
