Cimbali

La Cimbali (now Group Cimbali SPA) is founded in 1912 by Giuseppe Cimbali, a craftsman in Milan, which produces components for coffee machines for various companies. His own production begins in 1930.
The current production is focused exclusively on professional machines, albeit are produced two lever models for household: Microcimbali e Liberty. Is should be noted that on the site of Cimbali there is no reference to these models, while the machines are in production and all the spare parts are available at the Service Centers.
Despite the changes over the years, all models have in common the following characteristics: closed boiler with provision of steam, piston actuated by a spring, sight glass level, design.
The old models, similarly to the other lever machines of the period, haven't pressurestat and thermostat.
The machine is very heavy and impressive (8,5 kg) and as a result from a feeling of strength and stability. The components are of good quality and designed with accuracy, which makes simple the few maintenance operations. Contrary to appearances is operated with ease and lightness.
